Former champion Jiri Prochazka returned to UFC 300, defeating Aleksandar Rakic in a thrilling match, solidifying his fan-favorite status.

In the electrifying preliminary bout of UFC 300, the octagon saw the return of former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka as he went head to head with fellow contender Aleksandar Rakic.

Among the many talented fighters featured in UFC 300, Prochazka stood out as a fan favorite, with his unique fighting style and charismatic personality endearing him to fans despite having only four UFC fights under his belt prior to April 13.

Rakic, making his comeback after a two-year hiatus due to an ACL injury sustained against Jan Blachowicz, had previously secured impressive victories over Anthony Smith and Thiago Santos, solidifying his position as a top contender in the division.

Leading up to the fight, there was some friendly banter between the two fighters, with some dubbing the matchup as the 'King of Europe' due to their respective nationalities.
