Even while on vacation in Turks and Caicos, fans have left their thoughts and prayers for her, with comments like, "You on vacation and yo daddy done gone to glory!!!" and "It must be a hard day for you today."

The speculation about Simpson being Khloe's real father dates back to 2011 when her mother, Kris Jenner, mentioned in her memoir an affair she had while married to Khloe's father, Robert Kardashian. Robert, a well-known California lawyer, was part of Simpson's legal team during his murder trial in 1994. The rumors were further fueled by Robert's second wife, Jan Ashley, and third wife, Ellen Pierson, who both claimed Khloe was not his biological daughter.
