This marks a new chapter for Ekeler, who will be joining a new team for the first time after spending his first seven seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers. It's worth noting that Ekeler had reportedly considered seeking a trade last offseason before ultimately staying with the Chargers.

Over the past two seasons, he has amassed 236 tackles, showcasing his prowess as a reliable defender. With 20 sacks and one interception returned for a touchdown in his career so far, Luvu brings a solid defensive presence to the Commanders.
