Exciting matchups set for 2024 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament in Washington, D.C. Top seeds North Carolina, Duke, Virginia ready to compete.

The highly anticipated 2024 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament seedings and bracket have been revealed by the Atlantic Coast Conference. The tournament is set to take place from March 12-16 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., marking the third time the event will be held in the nation's capital.

North Carolina, after securing its first outright ACC regular-season championship in several years with a record of 25-6 overall and 17-3 in the ACC, has clinched the No. 1 seed in the tournament. This achievement also grants them a double bye into the Thursday quarterfinals. Duke, with a strong 24-7 record (15-5 in the ACC), has claimed the No. 2 seed, while Virginia secured the No. 3 seed with a record of 22-9 overall and 13-7 in the conference.

Pitt, on a hot streak with victories in nine of its last 11 games, has earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament with a record of 21-10 overall and 12-8 in the ACC, securing its first-ever double bye in the ACC Tournament.

The tournament will kick off on Tuesday with three games. Notre Dame and Georgia Tech will face off as the No. 12 and No. 13 seeds, followed by NC State against Louisville as the No. 10 and No. 15 seeds, and Boston College taking on Miami as the No. 11 and No. 14 seeds.

Wednesday will see the second round begin with Virginia Tech facing off against Florida State as the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds. Wake Forest will battle the winner of the Notre Dame-Georgia Tech game, while Syracuse will take on the winner of the NC State-Louisville matchup. Clemson will face the winner of the Boston College-Miami game in the final matchup of the day.

The winners of the Wednesday games will advance to play the top four seeds on Thursday in the quarterfinals. All 14 tournament games will be broadcast nationally on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, or ACC Network, with streaming available via ACCNX.

The excitement continues to build as the top teams in the ACC prepare to battle it out for conference supremacy in what promises to be an action-packed and thrilling tournament.
