The Octagon made its return to Miami for UFC 299, featuring a stacked fourteen-bout fight card headlined by the highly anticipated rematch between Sean O'Malley and Marlon Vera. The men's bantamweight title fight was an absolute masterclass from O'Malley, who put on a striking clinic and dominated Vera throughout the twenty-five-minute affair. Despite going the distance, 'Suga' showcased his speed advantage and controlled the fight to earn a well-deserved unanimous decision victory.

In the co-main event, Dustin Poirier faced off against Benoit Saint-Denis in a thrilling lightweight bout.
