The Celebrity Cricket League 2024 kicked off with a bang in Sharjah, but the action has now shifted to India. The first five matches have already taken place, with two thrilling games occurring on Friday, March 1, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

In the sixth match, Chennai Rhinos emerged victorious over Bhojpuri Dabbangs by seven wickets. Telugu Warriors also secured a win in the seventh match against Punjab De Sher by five wickets.

Karnataka Bulldozers and Bengal Tigers have slipped to third and fourth place, respectively, with one win each and Net Run Rates of +1.900 and +1.650. Mumbai Heroes are in fifth place with one win in two matches and a Net Run Rate of -0.750. Meanwhile, Kerala Strikers, Bhojpuri Dabbangs, and Punjab De Sher are still searching for their first victory and are at the bottom of the table.

In a thrilling match between Chennai Rhinos and Bhojpuri Dabbangs, S Thaman's heroics led Telugu Warriors to victory over Punjab De Sher. Chennai Rhinos chose to bowl first and restricted Bhojpuri Dabbangs to 57 runs in their first innings. The Rhinos then chased down the target of 51 runs in the second innings to secure the win.

Telugu Warriors won the toss in their match against Punjab De Sher and restricted them to 72 runs in the first innings. Despite a shaky start, the Warriors managed to chase down the target of 107 runs in the second innings, thanks to S Thaman's explosive innings.
