The FIA Volunteers and Officials Commission president and Bahrain Motor Federation general manager, Abdulaziz Al Thawadi, who also heads the Kingdom's Motorsport Marshals Club, emphasized the pivotal role of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa in driving the growth of sports in Bahrain.

Established in 2004, the MMC has played a crucial role in organizing local and international races, ensuring the highest safety standards are met. With a membership of over 900, the club is one of the largest in Bahrain, with members taking on various tasks and roles in organizing events. The marshals have been instrumental in the success of races in India, Azerbaijan, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, and Al Diriyah, showcasing their expertise and professionalism.
