Christian Benteke nets hat-trick as Revolution stumble in MLS opener against D.C. United

Belgian international Christian Benteke scored a hat-trick as D.C. United defeated the New England Revolution 3-1.

In a thrilling match, the former Belgian international scored a hat-trick to lead D.C. United to a 3-1 victory over the New England Revolution. Benteke's first goal came in the 34th minute when he headed home a cross, and he followed it up with a second goal in the 72nd minute.
