India defeat Pakistan Friendship Cricket Series Blind

Sunil Ramesh's 87 runs in 61 balls helped India defeat Pakistan by 46 runs, leveling the Friendship Cricket Series 1-1.

In an exciting match in Dubai, the Indian men's cricket team for the blind emerged victorious over Pakistan in the second T20 of the Friendship Cricket Series. Sunil Ramesh's impressive 87 runs in 61 balls set the stage for India's success, with a combined team effort ultimately leading to a 46-run win over their rivals. This victory has leveled the series at 1-1, setting the stage for an exciting final match.

India's strong start was fueled by a partnership between Sunil Ramesh and D. Venkateswara Rao, which resulted in a 121-run opening stand. Despite Venkateswara Rao's dismissal in the 13th over, Sunil Ramesh and Ajay Kumar Reddy continued to build momentum, propelling India to a formidable total of 224/3 in their 20 overs.

Pakistan's pursuit of 225 runs got off to a rocky start, with an early wicket falling in the third over. However, skipper Badar Munir's efforts helped revive their innings, albeit briefly. India's bowlers, though, managed to take crucial wickets and restrict Pakistan to 178/6, securing the victory and leveling the series.

Following the match, Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, congratulated the players and offered his best wishes to both teams for the upcoming final match. Sunil Ramesh's outstanding performance earned him the player of the match award, further highlighting India's success.

The stage is now set for an exhilarating final showdown between India and Pakistan at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai. As the teams gear up for the third and final T20 of the Friendship Cricket Series for the Blind, anticipation is high for another thrilling encounter between these fierce rivals.
