Champions League draw: Arsenal and Man City vie for quarter-final spots

The Champions League last-16 is heating up with Manchester City leading, Real Madrid and PSG in pole position and draws soon.

The battle to reach the Champions League quarter-finals is now in full swing, with Europe's top club competition returning for the last-16 ties as teams vie for a spot in June's Wembley showpiece.

Holders Manchester City are looking strong after a 3-1 win away at FC Copenhagen, while Real Madrid narrowly defeated RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain cruised past Real Sociedad. Struggling Bayern Munich were stunned by Lazio, adding to the drama of the competition.

The draw for the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Uefa headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. The draws will map out each team's potential path to Wembley and are expected to begin at around 12pm CET, which is 11am GMT in the UK.

As of now, no team has qualified for the quarter-finals, but Manchester City, Real Madrid, PSG, and Lazio are in strong positions after their first-leg ties. The next batch of last-16 first legs will determine the remaining teams to advance.

The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals will be shown live on TNT Sports in the UK, with live streaming available through the Discovery+ app or website, Uefa's official website, and YouTube channel. Standard Sport's blog will also provide live coverage of the draw.

The quarter-final first legs are scheduled for April 9/10, with the return fixtures on April 16/17. The semi-final first legs will take place on April 30/May 1, and the second legs on May 7/8. The Champions League final is set for Saturday, June 1 at Wembley Stadium in London, providing extra incentive for Arsenal and Manchester City to reach the biggest game in European club football on home soil.
