Wembanyama triple-double blocks Spurs beat Raptors end 7-game skid

Victor Wembanyama's triple-double leads San Antonio Spurs to 122-99 win over Toronto Raptors. 76ers end Cavaliers' nine-game winning streak.

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Toronto Raptors 122-99 on Monday night, snapping a seven-game losing streak. Victor Wembanyama had an outstanding performance, scoring 27 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and recording a career-high 10 blocks in his second triple-double. Devin Vassell added 25 points, and Wembanyama's impressive display on the court helped the Spurs secure their first win since January 27th.

Wembanyama's incredible performance included making 10 of 14 attempts, along with five assists and two steals in just 29 minutes of play. This performance marked the first triple-double with blocks since Clint Capela's on January 22, 2021. The last time an NBA player recorded 10 blocks in a game was also on the same date. Jeremy Sochan and Keldon Johnson also contributed to San Antonio's victory, scoring 16 and 12 points, respectively, as the Spurs ended a four-game road losing streak.

In another game, the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 123-121, ending Cleveland's nine-game winning streak. Buddy Hield and Kelly Oubre Jr. both scored 24 points, and Tyrese Maxey added 22 points for the Sixers. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs with 36 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks showcased their improved defense in a 112-95 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a stellar performance, scoring 36 points, grabbing 18 rebounds, and recording five assists. Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 29 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists.

Luka Doncic recorded his 10th triple-double of the season, helping the Dallas Mavericks defeat the Washington Wizards 112-104. Doncic finished with 26 points, 15 assists, and 11 rebounds, while Kyrie Irving added 26 points for the Mavericks. Deni Avdija scored 25 points for the Wizards.

The Golden State Warriors secured a 129-107 victory over the Utah Jazz, with Klay Thompson scoring 26 points and Stephen Curry adding 25. The Warriors played without coach Steve Kerr, who was in Serbia for a funeral service.

The Houston Rockets defeated the New York Knicks 105-103, with Aaron Holiday scoring 18 points and making two free throws with less than a second remaining. Dillon Brooks scored 23 points to help the Rockets snap a four-game skid.

The Chicago Bulls scored a season-best 136 points in a 136-126 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Ayo Dosunmu had a career-high 29 points, while DeMar DeRozan scored 29 and Nikola Vucevic added 24 points and 11 rebounds.

The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Indiana Pacers 111-102, with Miles Bridges scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. The Hornets won their second straight game since adding five new players via trade.

Finally, the New Orleans Pelicans secured a 96-87 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, with Herbert Jones scoring 17 points and Brandon Ingram adding 16 points. The Pelicans sent the Grizzlies to their ninth straight loss.
