Persona 3 Reload: Biggest Launch of Concurrent Steam Players in Franchise History

Persona 3 Reload, the highly-anticipated remake of Atlus' cult-classic JRPG, has broken franchise records on Steam with over 42,000 concurrent players.

The highly anticipated remake of Atlus' beloved JRPG, Persona 3, has finally arrived for Xbox consoles, PlayStation 5, and PC via Windows and Steam. Persona 3 Reload, released on February 2, 2024, has made a significant impact on the franchise. In fact, it has broken the record for the highest number of concurrent players on Steam, reaching an impressive peak of 42,112 players.

This achievement surpasses the previous record held by Persona 5 Royal, which had around 35,474 players, and Persona 4 Golden, which reached a peak of 29,984 players. This remarkable success demonstrates that Persona 3 Reload has achieved the most significant launch on Steam in the franchise's history, accomplishing this feat in just over twenty hours after its release.

The overwhelming enthusiasm for this game is well-deserved, as the Xbox Series X version of Persona 3 Reload offers an exceptional gaming experience. The remake has enhanced the original game in nearly every aspect, from its next-gen graphics to revamped gameplay, quality-of-life improvements, and a polished story.

While it is unfortunate that some content from Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable did not make it into the remake, this does not diminish the fact that Persona 3 Reload stands as one of the best games for Xbox and PC in 2024.
