While the Wildcats have struggled defensively this season, they showed improvement in this game. Despite allowing 77 points, they were able to contain Mississippi State's roster, with Tolu Smith III being the only standout performer. Kentucky's Antonio Reeves led all scorers with 26 points, while freshman guard Rob Dillingham and senior forward Tre Mitchell also made significant contributions. The Wildcats will look to continue their winning streak as they prepare to face Georgia on Saturday evening at Rupp Arena. The game will be televised nationally on SEC Network.
