This exclusive set is designed to celebrate Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary and the upcoming Chinese New Year, featuring traditional mahjong motifs with a cute Hello Kitty twist.

In this special mahjong set, the usual bamboo suit has been replaced with french fries, and the red, green, and blue dots are now yellow, green, and brown, resembling the patty, lettuce, and bun of a McDonald's burger. The honour tiles feature Hello Kitty's signature red bow, and the white dragon tile showcases the top of Hello Kitty's head peeking out from the frame. Even the flower tiles have been replaced with images of Hello Kitty enjoying McDonald's classics.

Each set comes in a faux-leather mahjong box with McDonald's and Hello Kitty branding on the red tile back. Along with the tiles, the box includes three dice, a wind indicator, and a gold authentication card with the serial number of each set. Additionally, there are two blank tiles in case any tiles are lost.

To get your hands on this special mahjong set, simply download the McDonald's app and purchase ten HK$20 food gift certificates. Once you've done that, you'll have the option to add HK$788 to receive the McDonald's x Hello Kitty crystal mahjong set. After your order is confirmed, you can pick up the mahjong set and vouchers on the same day at designated McDonald's locations, which can be found through the app.

It's important to note that the limited-edition McDonald's x Hello Kitty crystal mahjong set is only available in limited quantities and is sold on a first-come-first-serve basis. Sales will begin on January 18 at 2 p.m., so be sure to act fast if you want to get your hands on this special set in time for Chinese New Year celebrations.
