Adan Canto, a talented Mexican-American actor, tragically passed away on Monday, Jan. 8 after a brave battle with appendiceal cancer. Born in Mexico in 1981, Canto was raised in Texas and began his career in music before transitioning to acting. He appeared in various Mexican projects before making his mark in Hollywood with roles in The Following, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and The Cleaning Lady, among others.

Unfortunately, due to his declining health, Canto was unable to film the first part of Season 3 of The Cleaning Lady, but the show will pay tribute to him in the premiere episode in March. Both Fox and Warner Bros. Television expressed their deep sorrow at the loss of a talented actor and friend, highlighting his powerful performances and the impact he made in the industry.

Canto is survived by his wife of six years, Stephanie Lindquist, and their two children. His legacy lives on through his work and the impact he made on those who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be deeply missed, and his contributions to the entertainment industry will be remembered for years to come.
