NBA roundup: Pacers beat Celtics in final second

The Indiana Pacers pulled off a thrilling 133-131 victory over the Boston Celtics thanks to a clutch performance from Bennedict Mathurin, who made two free throws with just 0.6 seconds left on the clock. Mathurin led the Pacers with 26 points and intentionally missed the third free throw after making the first two, giving the Celtics a slim chance to tie the game. However, Luke Kornet's tip-in at the buzzer hit the rim and bounced out, securing the win for the Pacers.

Unfortunately, the victory was marred by an injury to Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who had to be helped off the court with a hamstring injury and did not return to the game. Despite a season-high 40 points from Jaylen Brown, the Celtics were unable to secure the win. The Bulls also emerged victorious in a hard-fought 119-112 overtime win against the Hornets, with Coby White leading the charge with 27 points.

In another game, the Jazz dominated the Bucks with a 132-116 win, led by strong performances from Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen. The Thunder also emerged victorious with a 136-128 win over the Wizards, fueled by standout performances from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and rookie Chet Holmgren. Finally, the Heat secured a 120-113 win over the Rockets, with Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo combining for 50 points to lead Miami to victory.
