While many businesses are open on Christmas Eve, it's essential to double-check their hours, as some may close early or have reduced hours. Large chains like Target, Costco, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Starbucks, Kroger, and Albertsons will all have varying hours on Christmas Eve, so it's best to call ahead or look up specific schedules online for your local stores.

For example, most Target stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., while Costco's warehouses will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. CVS Pharmacy locations will operate with normal hours, but some non-24 locations may have reduced hours or holiday closures. Walgreens will be open with regular hours, but pharmacy hours may vary by location. Starbucks locations will also have varying hours, so it's recommended to check ahead online.
