If La Liga leaders Girona win their upcoming match, Barcelona will be nine points behind their Catalan neighbors, a fact that Xavi lamented as missed opportunities. In a post-match interview, he expressed frustration, saying, "The same thing is happening again as last week with the effectiveness. Today we gave away two points. The chances are to win the game. Xavi criticized his team's lack of effectiveness, calling the fixture "alarming" and a "reflection of the season." He explained that while they train for finishing, it also depends on each person's confidence. Midfielder Pedri echoed similar sentiments, stating that anything less than three points is negative for the team.
