Kat Dennings and Andrew W.K. have officially tied the knot in a small, intimate ceremony at their home. The couple, who have been together for almost three years and announced their engagement in May 2021, exchanged vows on Nov. 27 in a cozy backyard wedding at their Los Angeles property. The ceremony was attended by just 15 guests, including friends Brenda Song and Macaulay Culkin.

In an interview with Vogue magazine, Kat revealed that the decision to have a small home wedding was too cozy to resist. She explained that having the wedding at their home meant they didn't have to pack anything and could enjoy the comfort of their own space. The couple took a hands-on approach to the wedding, making a lot of the decor themselves, and Kat even did her own hair and makeup for the special day.

The actress expressed her desire for the wedding to feel completely different from an 'industry event' and wanted to be involved in every aspect of the experience. She joked about the amount of work that went into the florals, saying that if she had known it would take three days of non-stop work, she might have hired a professional. However, she felt that standing with Andrew at an arch they made themselves was exactly what they wanted in the end.

For her wedding dress, Kat chose an ivory gown by Alexander McQueen, while Andrew sported a deep purple Brioni suit, completing his look with an Anto Shirtmakers shirt and tie. Kat's mother walked her down the aisle following the recent death of her father, and she expressed gratitude for being able to experience joyous moments in the midst of loss.

The actress reflected on the ceremony, describing it as a blur in the best way. She felt present and filled with gratitude for Andrew and their loved ones, and considered herself lucky to be marrying such a kind and loving man.
