JuJu Watkins is a big fan of LeBron James and she got to meet her idol after scoring 27 points in a game against UC Riverside. The USC women's basketball team won 85-53 in front of a season-high crowd of 9,806 fans at Galen Center. The game was a bright spot on a day that saw the USC men's team lose to Long Beach State in overtime. LeBron James and his daughter Zhuri were in the crowd to watch the game, and they got to see Watkins put on an impressive performance. USC coach Lindsay Gottlieb was proud of the team's energy and performance. Watkins is a dominant force on the court and has already scored 30 points or more five times this season. The Trojans have been unstoppable at home this season, and they are looking forward to a big game against UCLA later this month. The Highlanders put up a good fight, but USC's offense was too much for them to handle. USC will face Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach State before their big game against UCLA. UC Riverside will host Santa Clara next before continuing their season.
