49ers Eagles pregame Nick Bosa toe injury not serious

Nick Bosa's toe injury won't keep him out of the game vs. the Eagles. McCloud is also out with a rib injury.

Nick Bosa's toe injury, which was reported on the 49ers' injury list, will not prevent him from playing in today's game against the Eagles. Bosa injured his toe during practice when it was stepped on, but he ran sprints afterward to test it out and showed no signs of hindrance. This injury is different from the one that sidelined left guard Aaron Banks last month. Bosa, who is the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year, has been a key player for the 49ers this season with a team-leading eight sacks and 29 quarterback hits. He has been instrumental in the team's recent wins.

Return specialist Ray-Ray McCloud will not be playing in today's game due to a rib injury, which means Ronnie Bell will likely take over the role of fielding punts and kicks. Defensive tackle Arik Armstead and running back Jordan Mason, who were listed as questionable, are active for today's game.

The 49ers' inactive list includes running back Ty Davis-Price, linebacker Jalen Graham, defensive end Robert Beal Jr., tight end Brayden Willis, offensive lineman Ben Bartch, and quarterback Brandon Allen. Allen, who has not played a snap this season, is the emergency No. 3 quarterback for the team.

For the Eagles, defensive tackle Fletcher Cox and right tackle Lane Johnson will be playing. However, tight end Dallas Goedert, who has a forearm injury, is on the inactive list along with leading tackler Zach Cunningham, running back Rashaad Penny, guard Sua Opeta, and emergency quarterback Tanner McKee.

The weather for the game is expected to be misty and grey, with slick conditions for the football. The official kickoff weather is 52 degrees, 98% humidity, 5 mph winds, and a 6% chance of rain.

On Saturday, safety Erik Harris and wide receiver Chris Conley were elevated to the active roster to help the 49ers, with Harris providing support to the special teams unit after the loss of leader George Odum to injury in the last game.
