49ers Notebook: O-lineman done for the year, no more Bosa-Baker beef

The beef between Nick Bosa and Baker Mayfield is officially over. Bosa mentioned that there was never any real animosity between the two, and it was all just a joke as a rookie. The two even exchanged pleasantries during their most recent matchup.

Chase Young, who witnessed Bosa's impressive performance against Mayfield while still at Ohio State, also chimed in and acknowledged that Bosa is not one to shy away from a little back and forth.

In other news, Jon Feliciano has made his way into the 49ers' permanent O-line mix. Feliciano, along with Burford, played every snap against Jacksonville and delivered an outstanding performance. The 49ers' offense was able to gain 293 passing yards and 144 on the ground, averaging an impressive 7.3 yards per offensive play.

Feliciano, a ninth-year pro, has finally earned a starting role after years of being a backup. His consistent performance and dedication to the team have solidified his place in the starting lineup.

However, the 49ers' past two drafts have been underwhelming, with many players failing to live up to expectations. Jackson, in particular, has been sidelined due to knee tendinitis, casting doubt on his future with the team.

Despite the ups and downs, the 49ers' defense has been holding its ground, with Bosa no longer holding a grudge against Mayfield. Bosa praised Mayfield for his toughness and athleticism, acknowledging his skills as a quarterback.

Looking ahead, the 49ers are considering adding Michigan QB J.J. McCarthy in the first round of the PFF Mock Draft. McCarthy's NFL arm talent and potential to work with head coach Kyle Shanahan make him an intriguing prospect for the team. While the decision is still up in the air, it's clear that the 49ers are keeping their options open for the future.
