Veterans Day Deals for Veterans and Active Duty: Don't Miss Out

Veterans and active-duty military can get free meals and discounts at national chains and local favorites on Veterans Day.

This Saturday is Veterans Day, and there are plenty of deals and discounts for active-duty and veterans to take advantage of. From free entry to national parks to free meals at local restaurants, there are many opportunities for those who have served to enjoy some well-deserved perks on November 11th.

According to Military.com, there are a plethora of restaurants and businesses across the country offering special deals for veterans and active-duty members. However, we wanted to highlight some of the local favorites in Colorado Springs and Pueblo that are participating in Veterans Day promotions.

In Colorado Springs, Jack Quinn's Irish Pub is offering 15% off for all veterans on all food, anytime, not just on Veterans Day. Additionally, any veterans or active-duty members with a valid ID will receive a free pint when stopping into Jack Quinn's on Saturday. Red Leg Brewing Company, a veteran-owned and operated business, will be offering a buy-one-get-one-free Red Leg half-pint with the purchase of a Red Leg pint for veterans and active duty with a valid military ID. Lost Friend Brewing Company, another veteran-owned establishment, will be hosting a variety of deals throughout the weekend. On Friday, Marine Corps veterans will get buy one get one free beer for the Marine Corps' Birthday. On Veterans Day, all veterans will receive 20% off with proof of service. Phantom Canyon Brewing, located in Downtown Colorado Springs, will be offering all veterans a 10% discount on their purchase this Saturday.

In Pueblo, Pass Key will be offering a 10% discount all day Saturday for veterans at both Pueblo locations, as well as their Pueblo West location. Thunder Zone Pizza, which has a CSU Pueblo and a Pueblo West location, always offers veterans a 10% discount. This Veterans Day, they will be offering veterans half off on meals with proof of service. Shamrock Brewing Company will be honoring veterans on Monday, Nov 13th. Veterans and active military personnel with valid IDs will receive a free order of Irish Nachos and a free pint of Shamrock's award-winning beer.

In addition to these local deals, there are also nationwide promotions for veterans and active-duty members. Buffalo Wild Wings will be offering a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for veterans and active duty with a valid ID who dine in with the chain. BJ's Restaurant is offering a free Pizookie with any purchase of $9.95 or more for veterans with a military ID. California Pizza Kitchen will be giving veterans and active-duty members a free complimentary meal in the form of a BOGO offer of a pizza, salad, or pasta. Chili's will be offering a free meal on Veterans Day at participating locations with a valid military ID. Dickey's Barbecue Pit will be giving veterans and active-duty members with a military ID a free pulled pork sandwich. Dunkin' will be offering veterans and active-duty military with valid ID a free donut of their choice. Einstein Bros. Bagels will be giving veterans and active-duty military a free any-sized hot or iced coffee with any purchase at participating locations. Freddy's will be giving any veteran or active-duty military member a free Freddy's Original Double with Cheese combo meal card that can be redeemed through November 20th. Golden Corral will be hosting its Military Appreciation Night on Monday, November 13th from 5 p.m. to close. Hooters will be offering veterans and active-duty personnel with valid IDs a free dinner entree from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu with the purchase of a beverage. IHOP will be giving veterans and active-duty personnel with valid IDs free red, white, and blue pancakes, or a pancake combo from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mission BBQ will be offering veterans a free sandwich at participating locations with a valid military ID. Old Chicago will be giving veterans and active-duty military with valid IDs a free lunch entree from an exclusive menu on Saturday. Outback Steakhouse will be giving veterans and active-duty military who dine in a free Bloomin' Onion and drink with the purchase of an entree. Red Lobster will be offering veterans, active-duty, and reservists free printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, which can be redeemed starting Monday, November 13th through December 10th. Red Robin will be giving veterans and active-duty personnel a free Red's Big Tavern Burger with an endless side of steak fries for those with valid IDs. Starbucks will be offering veterans, military service members, and military spouses a free 12-ounce hot or cold brewed coffee at participating U.S. locations. Tucanos Brazilian Grill will be giving active-duty military and veterans a free Churrasco meal with the purchase of another Churrasco meal from November 9th - 11th.
