Juventus Boost Title Push with Win against 10-Man AC Milan in Serie A

Juventus secures a 1-0 win over AC Milan with a deflected goal, putting them one point behind Milan in Serie A.

Juventus asserted their dominance in Serie A with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over AC Milan at San Siro. The winning goal came from former Rossoneri midfielder Manuel Locatelli, whose shot deflected off Milan substitute Rade Krunic and found the back of the net. Milan's hopes were further diminished when Malick Thiaw was shown a straight red card in the 40th minute for a foul on Moise Kean. In another Serie A fixture, Roma, managed by Jose Mourinho, secured their third consecutive league win with a 1-0 triumph over Monza. Stephan El Shaarawy scored the decisive goal in the 90th minute, sealing the victory for Roma.

Salernitana and Cagliari battled to a thrilling 2-2 draw, with all four goals coming in the final 11 minutes of the match. Boulaye Dia's stoppage-time penalty salvaged a point for Salernitana, who currently find themselves in the relegation zone.

Bologna emerged victorious with a 2-1 win against Frosinone, thanks to goals from Lewis Ferguson and Lorenzo De Silvestri in the first half. The victory propelled Bologna up the Serie A table.

Atalanta bounced back from their previous defeat to Lazio with a convincing 2-0 win over Genoa. Ademola Lookman and Ederson were the goal scorers for Atalanta.

Lorient celebrated only their second win of the season with a 2-1 triumph over Rennes. Lille narrowly defeated Brest 1-0, allowing them to climb above their opponents into fourth place. Toulouse and Reims settled for a 1-1 draw.

Nantes continued their ascent up the Ligue 1 table with a 2-0 victory over Montpellier. Florent Mollet and Kader Bamba were the goal scorers for Nantes, securing their fourth win in five games.

In the Bundesliga, Augsburg staged an incredible comeback from being 2-0 down after just 18 minutes to defeat Heidenheim 5-2. Cologne also had a reason to celebrate as they secured their first win of the season with a convincing 3-1 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach. Florian Kainz was the star of the match, scoring twice from the penalty spot.
