'Love Is Blind Reunion: Johnie Reacts to Chris' Cheating Confession'

Love Is Blind reunion reveals shocking betrayal as contestant Chris confesses to cheating on Johnie with another woman.

In a surprising turn of events during the reunion special of Love Is Blind season 5, contestants Chris Fox and Johnie Maraist made an appearance that left viewers shocked. Johnie, who had a connection with Izzy Zapata in the pods, interrupted Chris, only to be rejected by Izzy and then attempt to reconcile with Chris. The pair reconnected at the airport on their way home from the experiment and were later seen at a cast barbecue, where they revealed to their co-stars that they were dating.

However, during the reunion, Johnie revealed that after the barbecue, Chris went out of town for a wedding, only for her to discover the following weekend that he was seeing someone else. "I never saw him again," she shared.

Chris admitted to the situation, saying, "That is how it went down. And I didn't handle the situation properly. But I did find someone who I now live with and love, and we're very happy together. I'm sorry if that hurts to hear. The whole experiment is about finding yourself and someone who accepts you for who you are, and that's what I found, so I wouldn't change that for anything."

Chris expressed that the entire situation with Johnie, Izzy, and the show caused him a lot of stress, and he struggles with delivering unwanted news to people he loves. Johnie believed that Chris didn't want to hurt her, so he tried to ease his way out of the relationship.

Co-host Vanessa Lachey posed a pointed question to Chris, asking if he would cheat on those he loves. Chris responded, "Apparently yes. It's terrible. I know I was wrong. I felt guilty and heartbroken, experiencing a range of emotions. Because I did fall in love with you, and I still care for you. It's a terrible, terrible thing to do, and not being honest with you is one of my biggest regrets. I've apologized before, and I continue to apologize."

Johnie discovered Chris's infidelity when a friend saw him with another girl and informed her about it. ET spoke with both Chris and Johnie separately immediately after the reunion special was taped.

Chris shared, "My relationship with Johnie today is a good friendship that was born out of a crazy experience we shared together. We tried to work things out, but it didn't succeed. I'm now happy in my current relationship. I'm in love with my girlfriend, and we've been dating for over a year now."

As for Johnie, seeing Chris again was a strange experience. "It was weird seeing Chris again. We haven't really talked since I found out about everything that happened," she said. "But it was nice. I feel like we can be civil and wish each other the best in the future. It felt like closure."

Johnie is currently in a committed relationship with someone who has a connection to Love Is Blind, paving the way for her own future.
