David Montgomery & Taylor Decker - TNF Return for Week 4

Two starters for the Detroit Lions, David Montgomery and Taylor Decker, are expected to return for their Week 4 matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Their presence will greatly benefit the Lions' offense.

The Lions had a victory in Week 3 against the Falcons, but their offense will greatly benefit from the presence of Montgomery and Decker. Justin Rodgers of the Detroit News has confirmed that both players will be active and ready to play in their Week 4 game.

Taylor Decker, a veteran tackle, has been with the Detroit Lions for eight seasons. He was their first-round pick in 2016 and has been a starter since day one. Throughout his career, Decker has consistently played in at least 15 games in five of his first seven seasons in the NFL. However, this season, he has only played in one game due to a high ankle sprain and bone bruise.

Despite the injury, Decker is confident in his ability to play through the pain this week. He has had two full games to rest and prepare for this Thursday Night Football matchup against the Packers. As for David Montgomery, he missed one game this season due to a bone bruise on his thigh. He has been a valuable asset to the Lions' rushing game, carrying the ball 37 times for 147 yards and two touchdowns in the two games he has played.

In Montgomery's absence during Week 3, rookie RB Jahmyr Gibbs stepped up as RB1. While Gibbs excelled in the passing game, carrying the ball 17 times for 80 yards, the Lions' offense is expected to resemble their Week 1 performance against the Chiefs more closely when both Montgomery and Decker are active.
