WWE Releases Female Star From NXT Contract.

WWE and UFC have recently merged to form a new entity called TKO, and with this merger comes a series of releases. Among the names on the growing list of released superstars is Yuliya Leon, an NXT superstar.

Today, WWE made the decision to release Yuliya Leon from her NXT contract. While she may not have had many opportunities to showcase her talent to the fans, it seems that the company has chosen to part ways with her.

This release is part of a larger wave of contract releases from WWE, with some of them coming from the NXT brand. Quincy Elliott was the first to publicly announce that he had been let go.

Interestingly, Mustafa Ali had requested his release earlier this year, catching many in NXT by surprise. Even up until a month before his departure, Elias was actively pitching ideas to WWE creative. Additionally, Paul Heyman had high hopes for Riddick Moss as a top WWE main event superstar. The release of Dolph Ziggler today also came as a surprise, as his contract was not set to expire until next summer.

In addition to Yuliya Leon, Dana Brooke and Shanky were also released from their WWE contracts today. This decision comes shortly after WWE's Superstar Spectacle event in India, where Shanky had just returned from. Dabba Kato, who had been a part of WWE's NXT brand, was also released, marking the end of his run with the company. Mace and Mansoor, both members of the Maximum Male Models, were also let go today.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for these released superstars, as their time in WWE has come to an end. However, it is worth noting that anyone who has set foot in NXT has undoubtedly learned valuable lessons that can contribute to their success elsewhere.
