Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador was arrested for DUI after hitting a home and pretending to walk her dog.

Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador found herself in legal trouble over the weekend. According to TMZ, Beador, 59, was arrested for driving under the influence after she collided with a home in Newport Beach. It is reported that she was accompanied by her dog, presumed to be her golden retriever Archie, who has made appearances on RHOC.

Sources claim that Beador, in an intoxicated state, attempted to flee the scene of the accident before parking her vehicle in the middle of the street. She then pretended to take a walk with her dog. The police arrived after receiving a 911 call and it was apparent to them that Beador was heavily intoxicated.

The Newport Beach Police Department representative stated that Beador has been charged with two misdemeanors - a DUI and a hit-and-run. As part of the ongoing investigation, law enforcement has taken possession of her damaged vehicle. In California, a first-time DUI offense can lead to a jail sentence of up to six months, a driver's license suspension for up to six months, and up to five years of probation.

Interestingly, just days before the incident, Beador appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live alongside her co-stars Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson to promote the ongoing Season 17 of RHOC. The show's reunion had already been filmed on September 7th, and the series is currently not in production. However, given Bravo's history of addressing scandals involving their reality stars, fans are speculating about a potential one-on-one interview between Beador and WWHL host Andy Cohen.

Another upcoming event that Beador was scheduled to attend is BravoCon in Las Vegas, starting on November 3rd. It remains to be seen if her legal situation will impact her participation in the event.

This unfortunate turn of events adds another layer to Beador's storyline on RHOC. Throughout the seasons, including the current one, she has been defending herself against accusations from her castmates that she has a drinking problem. It is worth noting that her co-stars have not yet made any public statements regarding her arrest.
