"Kysre Gondrezick's Sister Criticizes Kevin Porter Jr., Kalabrya Haskins Shares Displeasure"

Former WNBA player allegedly becomes victim of domestic violence at the hands of NBA star Kevin Porter Jr.

In a shocking turn of events, a former WNBA player has come forward to accuse NBA star Kevin Porter Jr. of domestic violence. The incident allegedly took place at a Manhattan hotel, where Porter was arrested on Monday morning. While the victim has not been officially identified, it is believed to be Kysre Gondrezick, as confirmed by her sister, Kalabrya Haskins.

Porter has been charged with second-degree assault and strangulation, according to NBC New York. The extent of the injuries sustained by the victim is not yet known, but reports suggest there may be a broken bone and bruising. Haskins took to social media to defend her sister, calling out Porter in a now-deleted Instagram post.

The post, addressed to Porter's Instagram handle, warned him of the consequences of his actions. Haskins expressed her anger and stated that Porter should be grateful if he can ever walk again, let alone play basketball. She also alluded to previous instances of violence, suggesting that this is not the first time Porter has acted aggressively towards Gondrezick.

The alleged incident occurred at the Millennium Hilton New York hotel, near the United Nations. Sources say that the altercation began after the couple returned to their room, with Porter getting locked out and tensions escalating from there. Hotel security was called, and the police were alerted. Porter was subsequently charged with assault and strangulation.

Gondrezick, 26, is a professional basketball player who has previously played for the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky in the WNBA. Porter, 23, is a member of the Houston Rockets and is entering his fifth season in the NBA.

This incident comes on the heels of another NBA player, Miles Bridges of the Charlotte Hornets, serving a 30-game suspension for assaulting the mother of his children in their presence. The NBA has yet to comment on Porter's arrest or indicate if any disciplinary action will be taken.

In a separate but related matter, NBA superstar Kevin Durant recently made headlines by stating that "everybody" in the NBA uses weed, comparing it to wine. This revelation has sparked discussions about drug use in professional sports and the NBA's policies regarding marijuana.

It is disheartening to see instances of domestic violence within the NBA, as it sheds light on a larger societal issue. The league must address these incidents seriously and take appropriate action to ensure the safety and well-being of its players and their loved ones.
