'RHOBH star Kyle Richards ignores Jeff Lewis' texts - Unveiling the reasons'

Interior designer Jeff Lewis reveals that his friend Kyle Richards has stopped talking to him after his comments on WWHL.

Jeff Lewis, a well-known interior designer and real estate speculator, recently opened up about his strained relationship with his friend Kyle Richards. The tension between them arose after Lewis made some comments on the show Watch What Happens Live (WWHL). During his appearance on WWHL, Lewis engaged in a conversation with stand-up comedian and actress Heather McDonald on August 8.

The discussion revolved around various trendy topics in the Bravo network, including rumors about Kyle Richards's marriage and her alleged involvement with country music singer Morgan Wade. Lewis expressed his frustration and admitted that he was unaware of the full story regarding Kyle and Morgan. He stated, "Kyle and I are friends, and ... she didn't tell me she's a lesbian on Ozempic."

Heather McDonald added to the conversation by humorously mentioning that one of the side effects of Ozempic, a medication used to treat type 2 diabetes, is lesbianism. She jokingly suggested that weight loss caused by the medication could lead to a ring slipping off and finding its way to someone else.

US Weekly reported that both Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade have denied any dating rumors and are currently collaborating on a documentary about Morgan's journey to success. Heather McDonald expressed her hope that the rumors were true, revealing her admiration for "late-in-life lesbians." She also shared her belief that Kyle may have been infatuated with Morgan, although she did not believe it was a romantic or sexual relationship.

In a subsequent interview on August 10, Jeff Lewis clarified that his comments about Kyle and Wade were meant as jokes and not to be taken seriously. He explained that he was mocking the absurdity of the rumors surrounding Kyle's sexuality and her alleged use of Ozempic. Lewis stated, "When I brought up Kyle Richards, she's a friend of mine, I was totally joking. I was poking fun at the absurdity of all the rumors going around that she's a lesbian and that she's on Ozempic. I simply meant it as a joke."

Despite his clarification, Lewis admitted that he was unsure if Kyle was upset with him, as she had not responded to his messages. During Kyle's appearance on Amazon Live, she revealed that she had not replied to Lewis after his comments on WWHL. She expressed her frustration with the constant rumors surrounding her and her desire for people to stop talking about her personal life. Kyle stated, "I'm not talking to Jeff Lewis, I just don't feel like responding to Jeff Lewis right now, to be honest with you. I'm just tired of it. I'm at my wit's end with all of the stories about me out there and I just want everyone to be quiet. It's hard enough with people saying things about me and you just expect your friends not to ... I kind of felt, like, yesterday with friends like that, who needs enemies?"

Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade first met in February 2022 and developed a friendship. They are currently working on a documentary, with Kyle serving as the executive producer, which will showcase Morgan's journey to success. Additionally, Kyle appears in Morgan's new song, "Fall in Love With Me," where she portrays Morgan's love interest.

As rumors circulated about Kyle Richards and her husband Mauricio Umansky's potential divorce, speculations also arose about Kyle's relationship with Morgan. However, both Kyle and Mauricio have denied the divorce rumors. In July, Kyle took to Instagram to address the false reports, stating that the rumors about her divorce were untrue.
