Recently, there have been serious allegations of sexual assault made against me, and I want to address these claims directly. I can confidently say that these stories are categorically false. Throughout my life, I have never engaged in any sexual relationship that was not consensual. Furthermore, I have never been approached by a woman after a sexual encounter and been told that I acted without her consent or violated her in any way. I want to take this opportunity to set the record straight and provide my side of the story.

I understand the gravity of sexual assault and the devastating impact it has on victims. As an individual, I have dedicated my entire adult life to standing up for these victims and fighting against oppression and inequality. It is who I am, and it is what I believe in. The statements being made about me are completely contrary to my beliefs and how I have conducted myself throughout my life.

In light of these allegations, the band Anti-Flag has made the difficult decision to disband. Under the current circumstances, it would be impossible for us to continue as a band. This decision was not made lightly, but we believe it is the right course of action given the seriousness of the allegations.

I want to express my gratitude to my family, friends, and the countless fans, musicians, and bands who have shown their support and offered to help during this challenging time. Your support means the world to me.

In addition to my statement, the other members of Anti-Flag – Pat Thetic, Chris Barker, and Chris Head – have also issued a collective statement. We have always believed in listening to and believing survivors of sexual violence and abuse. However, the recent allegations against me directly contradict this core belief. It has been a shock to all of us, and we are deeply saddened and heartbroken by these accusations. Throughout the 30 years we have been together as a band, we have never witnessed any violent or aggressive behavior from Justin towards women. This experience has shaken us to our core, and we are still processing the situation.

We understand that our response may not have been as quick as some people expected. This is uncharted territory for all of us, and we are taking the necessary time to process and navigate through this difficult situation. We apologize for any delay in our response.

Being a part of Anti-Flag has been a privilege for all of us, and as we search for our path forward, we extend our wishes for healing to all survivors. This is a challenging time for everyone involved, and we hope that through open dialogue and understanding, we can find a way to move forward.
